Dami Roelse is a certified life coach and writer. Born and raised in Holland, Dami has traveled the world extensively, lived on different continents and has learned to use her travel as inspiration for living. Dami is currently working on a book about walking and hiking for women 50+. Her memoir which involved traveling to a remote destination in Ladakh, on the border with China is in the works as well.
Dami uses long distance hiking and backpacking as a means to deepen her connection with nature and the universe. Aside from trekking in the Himalayas, Dami has hiked long sections of the Pacific Crest trail. Look for blogs and reports of her hiking experiences. When not hiking or traveling, Dami makes her home in Ashland, Oregon, a close knit community of vibrant, engaged and socially responsible people. There she writes, enjoys the fruits of her garden, early morning rows on Emigrant lake and hikes in the Ashland hills.
Dami's book, "Walking Gone Wild ", an inspirational guide to walking, hiking and backpacking for women50plus, is coming out in early 2018.
