DID YOU KNOW?
Even in the later phases of life, our brains form new connections, called neurogenesis. Walking in nature decreases cortisol, a stress hormone in our bodies (In Japan it's called forest bathing). Neurogenesis reduces the development of Alzheimer's disease. Exercise in the morning (YES WALKING!) regulates the release of melatonin in the evening. Evening Meditation increases melatonin x 5. For a healthy brain and a good night's sleep: Walk in the AM and meditate in the PM Spring is here, with more daylight hours. Elevate your mood by walking daily; improve your sleep by giving yourself light exposure
