Walking in nature decreases cortisol, a stress hormone in our bodies (In Japan it's called forest bathing)? In this time of a pandemic when we're asked to isolate and increase our social distance, walking in nature counteracts the effects of the stress we're all experiencing Exercise in the morning (YES WALKING!) regulates the release of melatonin in the evening. Evening Meditation increases melatonin x 5. For a good night's sleep: Walk in the AM and meditate in the PM Winter is here, and for some of us the shorter daylight hours affect our mood, making us more tired, irritable and less able to focus. One hour of morning light can alleviate these symptoms. Walk daily and give yourself light exposure
